My Showreel

I was advised to go out to the regions and learn my craft - so I did.

The ITN Traineeship was intense. It took me across the country and I learnt a lot.

Five years at BBC South Today allowed me to hone my ability to write to pictures and produce pithy, succinct and accurate scripts. Filming and editing my own pieces to tight deadlines became my norm.

BBC South gave me the chance to do everything: lives, studio two-ways and packaging. I am just as comfortable doing the lead story, as I am doing the ‘and finally’.

This showreel is a small compilation from my time at BBC South Today, BBC News Channel and BBC News at One.

It needs updating with my TV material from Victoria Derbyshire and BBC London. But for now this gives you a little idea about the ‘on screen’ me.
