Mental Health in Primary Schools

David Cameron announced that OFSTED would be asked to look at mental health provision when inspecting secondary schools.

I found Aultmore Park Primary School in Easterhouse, Glasgow. They already had mental health support systems in place for children and parents.

I spoke to one mother who was encouraged by her nine year old daughter to speak about what happened to them.

“My daughter would be in a care home if I didn’t get help.”
